Our Hours

Located just ten minutes down the road from the parks, this former citrus packing center built in 1919 has been transformed into a two-story food hall and entertainment complex. These days, it’s a one-stop shop for local dates, bored high schoolers, and vacationing families who couldn’t agree on where to eat in Downtown Disney. The 50-plus vendors mean everyone in your group will find something they like. We particularly love the Thai food at White Elephant, and when it's time for a cocktail, you'll find us at The Blind Rabbit, a moody speakeasy in the basement. In 2014, Anaheim celebrated the opening of the Packing House.

Address

If you love sandwiches, pick up the Spicy Andouille Po Boy ($8.95). It’s fully “dressed” with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, dill pickles, Dijon mustard and garlic mayo which all soaks into a warm French roll. This fast-casual spot offers a wide range of delicious dim sum dishes that are perfect for sharing with friends or family. The menu includes classics like steamed pork buns and shrimp dumplings, as well as some more unique items like crispy rice with spicy tuna and wagyu beef sliders. There’s a wooden bar that wraps around the counter in front of the display kitchen if you like to watch the show, common tables in front and porch seating outside for those who want to get social.

The Top Five Delicious Dessert Shops

Enjoy favorites like their Chicken Tiki Masala or Tandoori Chicken. The Anaheim Packing District is the perfect place to go when you don’t really know what you want to eat, because there are just so many options to choose from. A lot of people call the Anaheim Packing District an upscale food court; you can definitely make a case for that. Like a food court, it boasts awesome people-watching and interesting décor.

Create your own dish at Rolling Boil, where you can choose from varying broths, veggies, and protein to create your ideal meal. Experience Mexican cuisine with a fine dining flair at Urbana (pictured above), an award-winning restaurant serving gourmet tacos, hand-crafted cocktails, and fresh ceviches. Head over to Adya and dive into flavorful street-food-style Indian food, including Chicken Tikka Masala or Tandoori Chicken. When you can’t take one more second of the mind-numbing chaos of Downtown Disney, round up the crew and head to the Anaheim Packing House.

Q: Are there vegan or vegetarian options available?

What was once home to one of the last remaining citrus packing warehouses in Orange County is now a trendy food hall with dozens of unique vendors. With so many options to choose from, the food hall is a perfect destination for a meal with the family, lunch with friends, and more. Best of all, the Anaheim Packing House is only two miles from Disneyland, so you can grab a bite on the way in or out of the Park.

Cheeseburger Fries from The Kroft

Popularly known as the secret bar behind the bookshelf, The Blind Rabbit is a swanky but low key speakeasy with quality food and handcrafted cocktails. The Kroft serves over-the-top poutines, out-of-this-world sandwiches, and drool-worthy sides make this location simply can't-miss. If you're looking for real southern cooked home-style grub, Georgia's has everything you need and more. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n' cheese, and salads, all served in very "healthy" portions. First-time visitors won’t want to miss out on trying the Fruity Pebble crepe from The Crepe Coop, which is just as delicious as it sounds. Pop Bar is another trendy dessert cafe that allows guests to customize their own tasty (and Instagram-worthy) popsicle.

About the only thing they have in common is being uncommonly tasty. The Anaheim Packing District is a converted orange packing warehouse in the heart of Anaheim that boasts a century of history. Called Orange County’s original food hall, the Anaheim Packing District showcases shops that sell everything from tiki apparel to food… it’s the food, though, that will keep you coming back again and again.

It quickly grew to become an iconic stop for hungry late-night crowds after opening another location in the hip city of Roppongi, famous in Tokyo for its lively nightlife district. (Pitch black. Seriously. I don’t think that Rabbit was blind when he started working here.) Rummage sale furnishings and an analog soundtrack of jazzy vocals by Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Nina Simone. The Blind Rabbit  has always been a go-to for fashion-forward cocktails in hip surroundings. Just outside the Packing House, Cultivation Kitchen is poised to open this month with a menu geared for diners craving healthful choices at Farmers Park in front of the Anaheim Packing District. Relative newcomer Mangal, which arrived two years ago, quickly established its own following. It’s the fast casual version of big sister restaurant Aleppo’s Kitchen which was voted one of the best places to eat near Disneyland by Food & Wine magazine in 2017.

There’s always the street parking method; make sure you observe all city ordinances if you go that route. There are parking lots and parking structures all over the Anaheim Packing District, and they’re free, but they’re also at a premium during the busy hours. Be prepared to do a little space hunting or take advantage of the valet parking to save yourself some aggravation. Mexican cuisine is one of the most wholesome foods that man can eat. In fact, people have been eating Mexican cuisine throughout human history. Fanfare Waffle Dog and Aquas Frescas have mastered the crispy waffle and juicy hot dog all in one bite.

It’s about having the kind of fun, free-spirited, quirky, individualized entertainment experience that Southern California is known for. Mimosas and creative micheladas ($8-$12) are just the beginning. Try the Mexi-Cillan ($12) with Mexican Amaro, reposado tequila, mezcal, ginger, honey and lemon poured over a tiny ice block. It’s rose-colored, fruity and refreshing with a spicy undertone ($12). The classic Urbana margarita ($12) with fresh citrus juices and blanco tequila is addictive. But if you Ubered….order the Plus ($13) with Tapatio 110 proof blanco tequila, fresh lime, can sugar and a side swipe of salt.

What was once an orange processing plant that has since been rebuilt as the hip food hall now known as the Packing House. The old Sunkist facility dates back to 1919 when citrus was Orange County’s main claim to fame. This food hall contains a one-stop sampling of the diverse population, fresh produce, and world-class culinary talents that make Southern California one of the best places to eat in the world.

There’s also a calendar of live music throughout the month that will keep you dancing, and individual shops have their own happy hours and special events. If you want something different, try the Lamb Kabseh ($15) and be ready to eat it right down to the bones. It’s flavorful peasant fare, served with an extraordinary long grain rice that possesses an almost pasta-like texture. If you just want a snack, nibble on kibbe ($3) fried in a football shape, or borek ($5) which is feta-like cheese wrapped in dough and fried. Spice things up with the signature aleppo pepper condiment or add richness to any dish with the silky, ivory colored tahini sauce.
